Festive Photo Competition Winners

AND THE WINNER IS…

Cat Diaries has been inundated with photos of festive felines, and Cornelius and the crew have loved looking at them all. Many thanks to everyone who entered – what a creative bunch you are!

It was no easy task choosing the winner from such a high-quality field, but ultimately Carol Butland from Western Australia took the honours with this gorgeous shot of her cat, Kinky. Cornelius in particular adored the look of intense concentration on Kinky’s face as he climbs the tree in pursuit of his Christmassy prey. We only hope Kinky wasn’t too disappointed to discover that the Santa decoration wasn’t an exotic tasty treat.

So congratulations to Carol (and our five runners-up) and thanks again to everyone who entered. There’ll be more fun competitions in 2010 and we look forward to your entries for them.

Congrats winners! My oriental feline was envious as several times she has been chastised for knocking over the Christmas tree, getting entangled in tinsel, and rolling decorations around for me to retrieve from under fridge, T.V. etc. Mum has not had the camera handy!!! Smooch sends a Merry Christmas and season’s greetings to all.

LOL @ the major winner.. thats great. my cat does the exact same every christmas nd knows she’ll get in trouble so right this minute is sitting under the tree, WAITING until I’m not looking so she can climb it.. lol
