Cat Diaries Survey Competition - Winners

We had some great entries for the survey competition! Read on for the winning entries to our Bonus Question – If you were a breed of Cat what would it be and why?

1. Himalyan..beautiful blue eyes, intelligent, active, lovable and needing extra grooming attention on a daily basis..

2. Birman – because they are aristocratic but not snobby, attractive but not overly so, and because Birmans have the most amazing blue eyes.

3. A Bengal, So I would almost fly when I jump and have a beautiful wild spotted coat that glitters like gold in the sun.

4.Sphinx – the shock value, then the sympathy at my nakedness would mean plenty of pats and pampering to make up for my ‘disability’.

I love my 2 black cats 4 they always know when I’m sad, or happy. They also can pick up on when I’m going away 4 a long time, 4 Sunny Man brought me ina pigeon when I was going in2 hospital. I of course praised him (all teh while thinking the other, 4 u an’t tell cats off4 doing their natural instnctivness) & when I got back from hospital, he bought me in a rat & of course I went through the same rigmarole.
Fluffy Ga is more of a home body cat. She loves her cuddles N her Frontlien brush. Whenever I ick it up, she immediately comes on2 my lap 4 a good, hard brush

I believe that your Cat Diaries offer a wonderful opportunity to promote responsible pet ownership. Again the issue of feral cats has appeared in the press and we all have a calling to encourage owners to keep their pets confined for the safety of the wildlife and wellbing of our much loved pets.

I couldnt imagine my life without being a responsible cat owner! My babies have the best of both worlds, as they spend there days outside in their cat run, enjoying the fresh air & sunshine, then at night, they get to enjoy our company with plenty of love & affection, when they join us indoors. That way my cats do not annoy my neighbours or destroy the abundant wildlife!

I would want to be any loved cat, owners who love their cats would do anything for them. They get fed well, have warm comfortable beds, water to drink, plenty of cuddles, toys to play with and most of all really are the most important ‘person’ in the home.
